WTB Vintage 1:24 scale stuff

Interested in most anything if it's cheap. Got the bug to put together some vintage cars like I had when I was a kid. Not looking for stuff for resale, just for my own enjoyment. Cars, parts, anything really. Thanks guys

I've got some Russkit bodies, a 1/24 Strombecker Cheetah and a few vintage 1/24 Carrera cars. Vintage Jo-Han stocker body. Some other stuff as well.

The opening sentence in your request has me apprehensive about replying. I have been slowly selling off a large collection of 1/24 vintage cars & parts and still have quite a bit left to go. I like to think that I make stuff available at a fair going rate. When you figure out what it is you're looking for make a more specific item request, if I have it I'll try to put a fair price on it.

Well Dave I'll try to be more specific. I'm 63 years old and there's nowhere local I can race them. But I grew up with that style of cars and I recently came into a small pile of cars & stuff and thought it might make for some fun Winter projects. I'm not a hard core collector and I don't buy things to resell. Just something to get me into the basement when the wife is bugging me. So yeah, cheap is what I'm looking for. Just wanting to build up a small stash of bits & pieces so every time I need some little gizmo to finish a car I don't have to go searching online for it. I'm on Social Security and just trying to have a bit of fun. Sorry that's confusing to you... Not looking for anything free either. Please take no offense but I think you missunderstood what I was looking for. Cars that need work or have the wrong parts, not running, used parts, stuff that guys who have been doing this for a long time accumulate and stick in the garage and forget about when they move on to more modern, faster cars. Hence the opening comment about "cheap stuff".
If you're wanting Ebay prices then that's where you should sell your stuff... I get the impression that you're a dealer with your "going rate" comment so my apologies but you're NOT the guy I'm looking to do business with anyway... Have a good day.

It's fine. A simple misunderstanding. If you have a perfect, still sealed Cox Chaparral for example, sell it for all you can get to the guys with the deep pockets. If you have one that's got the wrong wheels, bad paint job & missing parts or a shoebox full of used bits you're never going to use then I'm your guy. Have a good night
