Nicely done. I really like the rock formation in the first pic. Very unusual.

Thank you Brothers for the kind comments. The rock formation is my representation of a butte a small rock hill with steep sides and a flat top. Found in the south western states

This is my second track, the first one had to be torn down due to water damage. Rule one never build a mdf track under water lines. Nuff said on that. This one is a 3 lane 85' with tinned copper braid, pyramid supplies the power, trakmate is my choice for the timing. I run 10.5 volts. Rubber and ureathane are the only choices for this track. Elevation is 14" along the back.. Average laps are mid 8s during tha racing, fastest lap is a 7.502 that is scooting. Looking forward to hosting a proxy race in the future. Thanks for the looks, Tim

Hello, I’m needing some help with the wiring of a 3lane crossover insert that allows me to run on all 3lanes or my track. With one controller. Problem is I can not fine the paper work. I have the insert in and wired up up car barley moves and the power source starts to beep. Not sure what I’m missing as far as wiring. Try and get some pics later when I get home. Thanks in advance Tim

Yes, definitely a short circuit somewhere. If you have jumpers try disconnecting them for starters.

I'm planning a similar setup with a 3 lane oval. Power will go from the power supply and controller to lane 3 at the start/finish line. Then, short wires will connect the outer rail on turn 3 to the outer rail of lanes 2 & 1, and likewise for the inner rails. These short jumpers may not be needed since the rails themselves will form a continuous spiral from the outer to inward slots. The main place an error can occur will be at the crossovers where care will needed to ensure the outer and inner rails do not touch.

By doing one connection at at time I should be able to test each one as I go and know immediately if an error has occurred.
