This is two different sites. The first one is oldslotracer.com and if you click on the second half you'll see a video using their taping tool. www.oldslotracer.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-3ODF7NxZ4

I went to oldslotracer.com but when I clicked on tape laying tool nothing came up. Might want to contact them.

I have and recommend the Greg Gaub gizmo. Super easy to use.

Can't recall where I found this but I used this as a guide when I made mine...

              There's also a version on Thingiverse.com.
Since taking over the production of Luf's tools, I've redesigned the Taping Tool in a few different ways to help them work better.
But, if you have the materials and tools needed to make your own, then absolutely do so. It's certainly not a complicated tool. Nor is the routing guide and strip. The video is great, but as others have made it a point to emphasize elsewhere, track building videos can be found online as well.
Luf's products are a great kit to jump into track routing without also having to spend time making the tools, or hunting down various videos that may or may not have all the information you need.
I'm certainly not making a living off the sales of the tools, but they are available to anyone who would like to buy them.
