I think I have a few of those 1/25 Modifieds kicking around, I'm in for building one (or two).
Thanks for keeping us up to date with the videos Harry.

This video shows how much effort and time is put into Winterfest. That's a lot of cars to get checked out, raced and time spent posting about the whole process. Harry, we all appreciate it. When I got back into racing 1/24 slot cars (around 2008), big scale modifieds were the cars raced by the guy that had a track at home. His cars were basic H&R/hard bodies as rules called for at the local commercial track. Everybody ran Mark Thomas MT5 motors. That's the kind of builds I started with when I actually got into racing again.. I still have the first coupe and a cut up H&R chassis and the 37 Chevy beater that has the offset chassis. So, I would be up for this build in the future. The old green car doesn't look that fresh anymore! This was the style of cars we built back then,.

Did I say I like slot cars!

It would be so great to revive a vintage modified. I like that red coupe; heck, I like them all!

What an AWESOME looking field of cars for the "Winter Fest"...this looks to be one of the best so far!!!! Really glad to see it's been expanded to 1 24/25 scale this year!!! I will have a 1 24/25 truck type ready and 2 brand new cars built for the next "SHOOTOUT FEST"!! This should be a WILD ONE!!!!!

Yesterday I found this swap meet cheapie with the few old kits I have. Stretch out the hood, make a new frame. I can see it now, flathead, maybe SB Chevy.

This should be interesting. I have no problem building good running cars for my guys and my track. I hope for the best with this format and style of car. Will be a good test of all these cars to see where each build is in comparison to the others. I Hope I am not the very bottom, but in the middle and that all the cars are so close the differences aren't much.
