Super quick and squirrelly lil sob, will need to be tamed by gearing or more weight.

Entry from the U.K. Sir Peter Gunn #111. For those that are not familiar with #111 Peter typically does well in proxies across the UK, Australia and NZ

that came out nice. I would of thought you would take a little creative and change the bsr to rsr on the side of the car.

Rob, that 997 looks ready to roll......I like it we may have a few Gulf cars in the mix with this proxy. Once we have entries in house a few months from now , please share specs.

I am so excited to try and race my way into my very first proxy in my hometown of Kelowna. The bonus is that it's on the amazing MID-BC track of Cygracer aka Rob. I tried to have my orange Scaleauto C7-R ready for the GT3 Proxy for last fall. Unfortunately my medical team had other ideas and called me out of town for major surgery at the end of Oct. Now that that's all done I couldn't miss this Round Zero, since I'd already ordered an NSR 997 and some racing bits for it. I'm so excited to try to compete with all these legendary builder / tuners! I will have to make a number change and some sort of stripe addition or something to be a bit different from ZackM's identical 997.

I'm planning to repaint orange with Jagermeister decals. Stripping hasn't seemed to work to get off the green and decals.

My first ever proxy car (which needs more work) turned a 7.5. I believe Rob said previously that his turned a 6.9. I'm not sure but Leo and Lez were somewhere ahead of me for sure.

      • #12
That's great Matt...the enthusiasm you bring will be be most welcomed in the proxy world. I think Lez has milled out a lexan chassis for his Porsche...I have only seen & heard from everyone electronically.....now when the heck are we all going to be allowed to get together in the various homes and garages around here and see what people are building!?

With the track put away we are flying blind on a few proxies for a while the 997 has earned its #33. V2.0 has less motor, more grip and has a little more weight up front. A few minor tweaks and it will be ready to go. Looking forward to the shootout

Wow!!! That’s a lot of tires and we will see if that chassis turns the 997 world upside down.

An interesting new racing tactic - purchase all of the available tires! Not cheap, but definitely effective.
