  • Making “writing something” area bigger??

How do you make this “write something” area bigger??? On old forum you would just click an icon in upper left corner to make the writing area as big as you wanted and now it’s so small you constantly have to scroll up and down to see all that you have written...maybe it’s staring me right in the face but I don’t see it!!! Thanks in advance to whom ever answers this !!

    Hello Tom,

Great question! At the bottom border of the text, you will see a horizontal border with two rows of small dots in the center. Place your mouse pointer on the dots and the cursor will change to up/down pointing arrows. Click and hold your left mouse button while moving the mouse downward to expand the size of the box. Unfortunately there is no way to save a default text box size so you'll have to do this each time you are creating or editing a post.

We have reached out to vBulletin to see if we can define a larger default text box size (all forum users) and/or allow individual forum members to set their own default. Once we hear back, we'll update this thread.

We've added a short video tutorial to show how to enlarge this text box when creating a post. Here is the link:
