Will we be getting the 'View New Post" button back. That's all I ever did when I signed on so I don't have to go back over what I already read. It's not the same as the "New Topic" button.

I agree that the "View New Post" button was very useful, and clicking on it was the first thing I did when visiting the old forum. However, when I inquired about this feature earlier, the admins said that it was not coming back. The "New Topics" tab is not as useful in my opinion because it doesn't highlight replies to ongoing threads.
When I log in, I simply go to the top of the forums page and hit "latest activity". It pretty much just pulls up the most recently added or commented on threads. Should suit your needs.
With vBulletin pages I just log in at least once daily, and before I log out I make sure to click "Mark Channels Read" after I've read all that I wanted. That way the next time I log in topics with new posts are highlighted as well as the new posts themselves when you open each topic. Easy to do and I don't miss a thing.
I just discovered something by accident. I generally keep myself logged in but for some reason I logged off last time i was here. When I got to the site today NOT logged in, the "TODAY'S POST" button was there. Yessssssss I happily clicked on it and all was right with the world. After that I logged on and the Today's Post button disappeared. Logged off and it reappeared. Hummm.

By default, only "Guests" will see the "Today's Posts" tab (when you are logged out you are considered a "Guest" which is why you saw it). I've changed it so registered users will also see it - when you login now, the "Today's Posts" tab should be there. If you are already logged in, you may have to logout and log back in to see it.
