    Ok, they don't run like a 3DP car.....but AutoArt has done several Lambos......Countach, Miura, Murcielago among them. So slot cars are out there.

    ​​​​​​Not that I am arguing about availability of 3DP cars....you used to have to get a Monogram SnapTite kit to have a Countach.

      I have a Fujimi model kit (Countach 5000) that I thought was well overscale but just measured it and it is quite close. Not many liveries available from when I did my research a few years ago.

      Yes I know they made those cars. But as you say Auto Art cars leave a LOT to be desired as a slot car.

    It just hit me when you said the Countach came out in 1971... That was HALF A CENTURY ago. Unbelievable!
    It still looks futuristic, even today.
