I agree with your perspective on the 3d cars. I think it is a great way for people to get those hard to find cars that a lot of us more hardcore enthusiasts like, but the big slot manufacturers cannot invest in. Scalextric is really ramping it up this year which can only mean it has been a good year for the slot car hobby!
