  • Predator Slot Car Motor!

Oh yeah I love this thing!
This motor is appropriately fast, especially on Policar's starter track. Check out my latest video. Here are the specs of the motor.
Some key points about the motor: This motor was previously sold as the SCC 18K "Minnow". The Predator version has the same specifications but with a longer motor shaft. Features include: 18,000 RPM, 90 g*cm torque Smooth, predictable power band Extra long motor shaft (13.5mm) can be easily trimmed to desired length; extra shaft length will accommodate 99%+ of 1:32 slot car racing applications Motor shaft is 1.5mm OD Long life brushes Affordable price The Predator 18K Slim Can is a great motor for home, club or proxy racing. Available from Slot Car Corner and Clover Leaf Racing early next week. Special introductory pricing of $6.99 through Oct. 31st 2020 ($7.99 thereafter).

Silly question, does that have the standard 3 hole pattern on the end, so would screw into a brass chassis.

Very nice, I've got a couple Scalextric Cortinas that are way over powered by the stock motor! Difficult car to get running well without the magnet. That Torana is sweet looking too!

Hey Dave, enjoy your videos! Any idea when the Policar track sections will become readily available? PM has a few, but nowhere near enough for a new layout.
            Thx

Here's a list of track pieces available. I talked with Hornby US recently and they have pretty much everything in stock. I have a bunch of track pieces of various types coming from them and it will arrive some time soon.
