Show us your track please. Be cool to see a 4 lane Policar layout in the states. Also hear your thoughts on the track, connections ease of use etcetra.

sorry but I only put out a few pieces of track for photo shoots. I can't build a track and use it for photo shoots because I need to be able to get in close for photos. So a track built for racing wouldn't allow me to get as close as I need to AND to light it exactly as i need it to. So when I do shoots it's always on this small table you see in the background of this video. That's kinda why I shot this video like this so you can see the whole table top I use and the whole diorama I use for photoshoots. The photos below were both shot on this background.

Over the past 14 or so years nearly every photo I've taken for SCX, Carrera, Scalextric, Thunderslot, Sideways, and now Policar/Slot It have been taken on this small kids hobby/craft table.
-
is that a circular polarizer on the table there? Nikon camera? Who makes the lights?
Perhaps a video on all the gear you use and go through the setup and take some shots?
-
Yes it's a circular polarizer. No, I shoot Fujifilm cameras now exclusively. I do have Canon gear but my wife is now using all our Canon gear for her job at the local newspaper. The lights are a pretty cheap set of lights that SCX bought for me years ago, they are "Impact" brand lights similar to this set.

I will do a video about the track system itself. But until then, it's the track I'd suggest for a starter set and if you were considering a track system to invest in I'd say it's the best one out there.
1. wide track. wider than Scalextric, not as wide as Carrera. It's the sweet spot, IMHO.
2. new tooling for the entire track system which means you will get YEARS of new track pieces with nice crisp molding edges (unlike ALL other brands which are now using tooling/molds for track that are ALL at least 10 years old).
3. track fits together well and STAYS together well.
4. connection clips slide into the sides of the track and OMG to they ever hold together.
5. fences that look good and stay in place.
6. borders that clip on easily and stay in place.
7. great surface. I personally like high grip track.
Maurizio and his team are slot enthusiasts. They get it. They're not just making a commodity that they don't use personally and have emotional investment in... no other company can claim to have the depth of passion for the slots they make... period.Slot Car Nerd/Photographer/ Just a self-styled marketing guy on my back porch.

All the track pieces ARE available from Scalextric USA now... there haven't been new sets announced beyond this current set. I would not expect more new sets to be made by Policar yet. There are more than enough track pieces to buy already to make as large a track layout as you want to. See the Policar website and order the track from your dealer, they can order from Scalextric USA.

I will be buying a "GODZILLA" Datsun when they reach the states.
Actually there is another set besides the BRZ Drift set.
Called the 'starter set' is comes with R2 curves and borders rather than R1 of the Drift set.
It is a lop sided figure 8, with track pylons to cross over
I bought one from the UK
I need to sell off all my BRZ set parts
