Here are a couple of the Carrera 60's stockers. The Torino is brand new. It has a blue metal flake paint job that is fantastic. Also has a great driver figure!
I am rediscovering these classic stockers! Cheers RvE

Here is a photo of a new car that I just picked up. Its the older model of the Dekon Monza from Carrera. I really like these cars with their huge fenders and wings and air dams. Even though this model was issued about 4 or 5 years ago, the scale details are superb. Check out the detailed driver cockpit and wheel details. Its a nice smooth running car too! Cheers RvE

Modern GT cars in action: Here is a shot of some of my modern GT cars. I do like this class of racing. Most of these slot cars are from the IMSA races, but the Ford GT ran in both IMSA and the WEC.....so it gets included in the pic!

That's two Cordobas, no Caddys. And that's a Mercury Montego. I'm so embarrassed to know this stuff...

Could be a Montego but I thought it was a Tbird Rob almost the same car at any rate

Thanks. Blue one is a Cordoba, tan is a Charger, grey is a T-bird. They are all by Lindberg and are 1/32 unlike some of their other kits.

70s street cars filling out the front row - almost never see those as slot cars.

More unusual subjects - I have seen you post a lot of unique conversions and builds.

              Great stuff!

Thanks. I enjoy building and racing some different cars and trucks! I am actually building another 76 Charger like the tan one.

            • Really like the Cordoba. I can almost smell the Corinthian Leather. Lol
              Great modeling

So it is like a '76 Cordoba, '76 Charger (with the opera window slats), '78 T-Bird, '65 Gran Prix, and a '65 Fury?

What chassis do you put under them?

Great job. Like I said no one is modeling these 70s era street cars. Interesting collection that does evoke an era.

Doba and Charger have Scalextric Dodge Charger chassis. The T Bird has Pioneer Dodge Charger chassis with Slot-it wheels and gears. Fury has a Pioneer Dodge Charger chassis, Pontiac has a Scalextric Ford Torino chassis.
