  • Slot.it’s Maserati Granturismo GT3 release?

I saw this Slot.it info posted on a European slot news site several days ago.

    https://www.slotcar-today.com/en/not...ot.it-8560.php

Essentially it was old news, nearly a verbatim copy of info from Slot.it’s own web page. No mention was made of pending release. Does anyone know if this car is near release? Here’s hoping that the guys at SCC and Cloverleaf will be carrying it.

Any Scalextric US dealer could order it. I'll ask Slot It directly to see when it's coming.

It might be a good choice for the 2021 GT3 proxy.

Just looked at their Facebook page. Projected for release in Q3, 2020. Not likely enough time to get one ready for the GT3 Proxy.

I might be wrong, but the information I have is that the first car will be 43a (white hill climb car - GT3 version) and will be available later next month. The car is also coming in a GT4 version (48 model numbers) - look at the above picture for the difference in the hood. The other car (#38) posted above is the 2nd release of the GT3 version item 43b.

I will be picking one up. either the 38 or 99 car haven't decided yet.

2020 is a killer year for Slot.It. They just need to to do a E30 M3 to go with the Merc 190s. But with Scalextric already having done the E30 I doubt it will happen.

That would be fantastic, I want the Ravaglia and Soper liveries. FWIW the Scalextric version with the PCR chassis and Slot It components goes quite nicely, albeit not a Slot.It

I will definitely be getting this model. Don't care which livery so whichever one comes out first will be the one I get.

Hmmm, interesting. May have to give one of those a whirl.

I thought that was the first car too. When I was emailing with the Slot It team yesterday they posted those two photos on their FB page. So plans may have changed about which decoration was first.

Regardless I see these cars as a very interesting new mold that I do have high hopes for.
The car should have a nice long guide lead which will give it a lot of stability. The wheel base is long and the track looks nice and wide.

Slot It have a lot of new and different cars (512 and modern Skyline) in the pipeline that I think will get a lot of attention from the slotting community this year and next.
