Usually I don't go in for fantasy liveries, but this one is so striking and the 1:1 car ran in so few liveries that I'm going to have to pick up at least two of these - one for the track and one for the shelf. I've been thinking of retiring my tired Capri from racing anyway and putting a Mustang on track instead, but after seeing this, well, this is going to be my next Group 5 contender. This particular Pennzoil livery is one of my all-time favorites. Scalextric released this livery on an R34 15 years ago. I have one of those but it's been a shelf queen. We don't have a class for me to race the Scaley in. I'll post a pic of the Scaley down below.
Let me see if I got this right. That chassis and yellow motor indicates this car is a new livery of one of the older models. The newer models have an orange motor and chassis with fewer adjustment points. Right?
Correct, new model, same chassis as the other Skyline's they produced. This is a Group 5, I believe all of them come in this configuration. The GT models have the 'orange' motors. All have the same adjustment points.
