  • Scalextric START for 2019

Just had these come in and the last couple of days has been a blast with them.

Now don't get mad when one of these passes a car twice the price

And scratchbuilders....we have talked about the LMP chassis before remember?

As smooth as that F1 car looked, and the fact that it has the FC130 motor in it, I think I may have to get a pair of those for just general open wheel fun! (especially at that price point!)
Thanks for the review and the tire recommendation Harry!

Thanks for another great review! Always looking forward to them. My first car I ever bought coming back into this hobby was a “start” Viper in green and it was and still is very fast! Great cars to “start” with to say the least. I might have to get a couple more!

Thanks for the review. You deserve to be complimented on your videos too. They are well lit, the sound is clear, and you know what a tripod is. I like that you show the chassis from a variety of angles too. Good stuff!

The open wheel cars are probably a good option for that style of racing, without the worries of severe body damage at the first wreck.

Harry and I have probably talked as much about photography as slot cars over the past few years. He's really quite serious about it. I'm sure he'd benefit from any help you could give him on video for sure.. you're the expert for sure.

Are these cars going to be available in multiple colors or just the colors shown?

Why doesn't my car run like that?

All good stuff. Love that LMP chassis for building cheap scratch cars, ala Artin.

I can get them for you. I guess I don’t measure these much anymore as we just seem to slice and cut them up. The LMP chassis is easily cut and wheelbase adjusted. That chassis is very flat and easy to work with. Let me finish my second coffee, otherwise you won’t get the accurate data
