      Interesting.

Looks like I need to do some testing before the NSR Nationals.

Butch, right now it is the tire to use at the track. The guy's love the traction. Not sure if you noticed he was using Firm tires not Extra Firm.

Even though I own none of this stuff in this video, it was still an awesome tire test to show the difference in the two tires...great work WAR!!

        Mike,

It's my understanding that the firm will hook-up better in the short run but the X-firm are better for the long run so for the NSR Nationals you want to run the Firm because it's a short race, not an endurance race. Am I wrong?

Both of Scott's tires were new firm tires but the air gap tire did better which I think is the exact opposite of what you're saying.

I think I'm going to do the same test Scott did and see what happens on my track.

Butch, I think you should look at what happened at the race last time and what tires were used by the winners and the top guys. No I do not necessarily agree with what you are saying we are finding the XF coming in around 50 or so laps and then they just get better. The Firm come in good from the start but really don't improve with more use. It will be up to you to decide what you want to do from there.

OK, thanks for the info. That's why I plan on being there around noon on Friday so I can hopefully figure out what works best. Plus give you the opportunity to spend more time with me.

Here’s a hope and prayer that these DFs will be manufactured for the smaller NSR air-gap wheels on the Classics that take QS 33 & 34?
