  • 41 Willy's Woody Wagon [Finished 1/20]

I had one of those old Aurora Speed Line goldish plated Willy's in rough shape and figured it would be a good candidate for this custom. I am using the woody section from a Hot Wheels, and it is made of plastic. I soaked the Aurora body in bleach to remove the plating. It is in the mocking up stage right now.

Thanks. Going on a specialty chassis, or as they say now days "four gear" That is the Toranado that received the bumpers from the damaged one in the lot I recently bought.

          LOL!

Yeah, best not to slang it up and keep the Aurora chassis nomenclature straight, or Ernie will give us demerits.

I glued everything together and painted the fenders and nose with Testor's Revving Red. I also painted up the details and used a darker brown for the wood panels.

                      SWCHWING!

Classy indeed. Macro dont lie, that wood grain effect is stellar. This model should have puppies. Hats off.
