Are the GT40 and Chaparral bodies new for AW?
And what is more important, will the Chaparral fit under the overpass on my track?Last edited by noddaz; October 12, 2020, 03:03 PM.Why doesn't my car run like that?

You got it right, for sure. My old Super Bowl Sunday Slot Car Show vendor buddy, Mike Vitale (MEV) makes the Lola and the Ferrari T Jet bodies, molded in a choice of colors. He's also got nice Ford GT Mk IV and Chaparral 2D T Jet bodies. I've got one of each, my reward for getting him the old Model Car & Track magazine scale drawings. It pays to save those old magazines! Check out Mike's website <www.tjets.com>. I've got many of his bodies, and he always makes subjects that haven't been made by the manufacturers. Good quality, too.

Mike doesn't stretch things out just because the racing crowd seems to believe that the long wheelbase T Jet is always a better performer. He tries to keep his bodies in the same scale range if at all possible. It's been proven on more than one occasion that a race can be won with a short wheelbase T Jet. I've had the pleasure myself a few times, as have others.
Of course, just my take on the subject. Enjoy! -- ErnieComment
