Picked these up from a craigslist seller. Got them for a very reasonable price. Stuff is still out there.

Original Aurora Galaxie windshield, or a new reproduction from Model Motoring, Inc.?

A very nice repop from Model Motoring. I didn't realize at first, but this is a vibrator body with a T jet chassis. They just shimmed the body with little plastic washers.

Yeah, it's cool when you get one of those factory modified bodies. They were using up everything that could be adapted to the new Thunderjet 500 chassis. The Vibrator '62 Galaxie hardtop in my collection is one of those, too.
                      Enjoy, my friend. Ernie :>)

I bought these new when I was a young kid. They have never run on a track. I asked the guy at the hobby shop if he would sell the whole box. He told me this is how they were shipped to him. Click image for larger version

Nice, Robert! A half dozen NOS Aurora "Tuff Ones" AMXs.
Those are the chassis that were the blueprint for the Johnny Lightning and later Auto World Thunderjet cars.
