Hope you had a good vacation, Todd!
          Now back to proxy work.

Being a proxy, I wonder why it's not in a HO proxy forum?
Seems like there's a lot of other proxys , and they're in a separate forums, why not HO?

I believe the "proxy" forum is open to all scales. We could have posted all of this the posts related to this series in there as an alternate, however unlike the other scale categories, there typically aren't many posts per day / week in the HO forum, so it is just as easy to post them here where people looking specifically for HO info will see the updates.

And latest proxy series update is qualifying is in the books!
Pictures and summary of the action to be posted later this weekend - but as a bit of a teaser, we do have a new top qualifier for this round!

The qualifying was done in random order on the center "red" lane with APalmer (track host) at the controller.
All cars were treated to a quick cleaning of the pickup shoes via Dremel with an EZ473 (220 grit) detail brush and a cleaning of the tires using yellow masking tape prior to running a six lap qualifying sprint.

Here is the resulting qualifying order and notes!

Mark - the cars were all shipped to us in little individual clam shell boxes with each car wrapped in toilet paper prior to being placed in it's individual shell. The toilet paper, while providing a nice soft cushion for each car, seems to have also provided some dust that has a bit of a "static cling" wanting to hold it to the bodies.

It is a fun layout with a nice combination of speed and technical - definitely a nice addition!

That's the problem with today's cameras, they catch all the details.
