SlotCat, the drilled out chassis with ball bearings was an extra on that car.
ball bearings all around. still got beaten in a proxy race by a car with bearings reworked with CA glue only. :-)

Pfuetze, very nice guide flag setup you've created! I've never handled or taken apart a 1/43 Carrera GO! car, looks like you drilled out the chassis and added bearings too?Leave a comment:

Okay. I forgot to take into account that it depends on where the pivot is. I still very often assume the pivot position being at the rear end of the guide, just as is standard with jet flags that I´ve been using for more than half of my life ....

no Roland, the guide rotates free in the holder, the limit in in the middle👍 1Leave a comment:

i designed a GoGuideAdapter for Go and artin cars, available on shapeways.
but it is also possible to just use any availabel guide.
i prefer printed guides from shapeways as they are designed for 1/43rd cars.
1/32nd are normalle a little big and the original SlideGuide is a little too shallow for 1/43rd tracks.
here are some pics from the GGA (GoGuideAdapter):
