1/43 Little Monte Carlo Rally Proxy and Covid-19! A question.

Ok, I plan to start The 2020 1/43 Little Monte Carlo Rally Proxy on the weekend of July 19th 2020., just under 5 weeks from now!

A question to all of you who are intending to send cars:

I have heard of delays in international parcels, so should we go ahead on 19th July or should we put it back until a similar date in August?

Your thoughts please!

I’ve been waiting over five weeks for an eBay purchase (a slot car, of course) to arrive in the States from England.
Other purchases from England have arrived quicker.

Maybe set a mailing date instead of a race date. The race can then be run when all the cars show up in case the postal services are again struck with a second wave of something between now and the race. My last Pendle order was pretty routine with respect to delivery time.

I vote for a mailing date four weeks later. I had to get through with a lot of non - hobby things during the last weeks and could not do enough for the remaining proxies. So It would be a big help for me to have four weeks more.

I have been waiting for a purchase from China for six weeks now, and the excuse is ......Corona.

The event will take place when all cars arrive!

Time to get building if you have not already done so!

Lets hope that we get them all by October!

Wow! I have just received a parcel from Austria containing 5 great from Peter Pfister as his entries for the 2020 1/43 Little Monte Carlo Rally Proxy!

As I want to run them all, I am increasing the number of cars allowed per team to 5. This is not a compulsory number, if you wish to send 1 or 2 cars, that is fine as well!

Sorry, I dont know how to add photos on here, so cant show them.

just 3 cars are from me, the silver beetle and the Fiat are from Claus in Hamburg, who built the Opel Admiral for the ProNoMag, which placed third this year!
