Wheels and tires

done some new wheels to fit the JelClaw tires ...

sized like SCX DTM to fit the ST4204 tires

sized like Carrera 458 to fit the ST4504 tires

available at shapeways as usual

Are they listed as fitting those tires on the site?

Ordered some Ortman tires that are said to be for a GO Peugeot, that seller claimed they also fit the GO Mustang. They have to be stretched a lot to mount on Mustang wheels. Very low profile, causing the magnet mount to bottom out on some track sections. Tires seem a bit uneven, as the car now bounces a lot.

Put some JelClaws on a GO F1. They are smooth and fast.

Ortmann tires need a little sanding, but they are PU-tires, sanding is easy.

I tried sanding JelClaws with little results. But as they fit nicely, the need of sanding is not that great.

Wheels and inserts arrived today, about 2 weeks sooner than projected. Lookin good. Where is Shapeways? Thought it was in Germany but package says Long Island New York.

Anxious to give them a try!
