I had the car already and was gifted the box last night at our usual Thursday night get together.

I think they make a satisfying pair.

I always loved that box art,....and the car,....well, it was the best RTR of the time !! , ....and yours looks to be in fantastic condition.

I agree with Chris that the Russkit box art was among the best of the 60's. Being an old 1/24 collector, I have and have had boxes for most all the old cars. It really adds to the time capsule feeling and appreciation of the old stuff to see all the great boxes. By 66 I was out of slot cars, but I can just imagine having $8-$10 to spend and going to one of the big discounters where they might have 30-40 different slot cars on the shelf for sale. I can just imagine looking them over and trying to decide what to buy. You better have a great looking box to get my $$$.
