I attended a race at Rapid Raceway on Saturday.
We ran two 1/24 classes. Late model sportsman utilizes a hand built brass inline chassis. It is very simple and quite fast.
The second was TA2, which is 2006+ Muscle cars with either a Scholer, Scaleauto, or Sloting plus bolt together chassis.
All classes utilize foam tires and S16d Motors. It was my first time racing with the two cars I prepared, and man was it fun and fast racing all night long!
Everyone was very helpful getting me going, and I held my own in both classes for being a newbie to the track. I will DEFINITELY be going back for more in two weeks time!
