  • Blast from the past...39 Chevy Project

Had a few questions about these projects, so I thought it's time to share a few. Based on the H&R chassis, Paul Gage Jalopy tires.

That really looks great, Wish I was better at making them chassis, I use H&R chassis the most. Can't wait till the 1/24 scale track reopens up here.

I love the '39 Chevy. It took a great looking car to pry me away from the '40 Ford, and I owned a '41 Ford, but that '39 Chevy grill makes me tingle. At my age, you take your tingles where you can get them!

As a Ford guy you won't actually be racing with the Chevy Coupe, but you will be lapping it regularly.

Supposedly, the whole brand rivalry thing isn't real for slot cars but if I fell for that it could also suggest a miniature incarnation of Richard Petty isn't driving my #43 Grand National car. That's not the universe I choose to live in.

Just a quick question on the chassis . How did you stretch the chassis , I have a Hudson that I was going to put a H&R chassis under .

Harry have a part number for those tires?
Looks like they can be fitted to H&R wheels?
Looked for "jalopy" and couldn't find them.
                            Thanks.
