  • Replacement tires for Scaleauto Porsche with MSC Competition chassis

Having difficult time finding replacement tires for Scaleauto Porsche 911 - white kit #SC 7005.

Ordered set using Paul Gage sizing app - but when received they were too small - only then was I informed the app is only for 1/32 Scaleautos.

Sent email to another shop (the shop I purchased the kit from years ago) - but got no reply).

I measure these at: (using old dial caliper and converting inches to mm)

    Rear - 27mm OD, 22mm ID, 13mm width
    Front - 26mm OD, 22mm ID, 10mm width

    They are low profile.

Anyone have this setup and what tires are you using?

    Thanks!

Yes Paul makes a basic "repop" of the tire if you don't want silicone. Which I think you already know as SCC informed you.

Wow thanks for all the replies - very helpful!

Kinda hoping to source the original rubber tires, for the fronts at least.

Gotta get myself a metric caliper.

Just get an electronic one... less than $30 that switches between Metric and Imperial (aka American)

Yup - just ordered one from Amazon for $20. Had a $10 Harbor Freight but the display stopped working...

On the SA site (https://scaleauto-slot.com/1-24-spare-parts/) I found this, once you have the part number, Google should be able to help with a vendor.

This is really helpful - did not expect such a complete web site. Going to confirm my measurements and hunt for a source. Unfortunately my tires are not engraved with size on the sidewall.
            Thanks!
