Time to get some model kits and slap a chassis under them.

This is the way to go. So many model kits available to recreate memorable cars from that era. Just need to settle on a common chassis and running gear for close racing. I wish this was true for 1:32 bodies.

I’m not talking donor bodies for slot chassis. Imagine a 1/24 version of the 1/32 Carrera Torino.

Could not agree more. I have tried many times to convince the powers that be to consider this. With all the licensing in place, the AERO wars in this scale would be an instant hit with many.

Maybe you will have better luck.
