Great looking car , Dogs body! Any chance of a pic of underneath mounting points of the front ? Hard to tell with the angle of the picture but it looks like the wheels are ahead of the wheel arches like the Lola is.

Not anymore , the only place that I could find them is privately owned and put on eBay for around $15 AUD plus $23 shipping plus $16 customs fee to get it to Australia!

You can buy these bodies (Lola, Lotus, Elva) direct from Tamiya for around $10. Here's my Lotus 40 that I built a while back. A great chassis, yards ahead of the domestic offerings of the time period, IMHO.

Very cool, I didn't know Tamiya made 1/24 slot cars! CLicked on this thinking it was old RC car from the 1970s, they also make new slotcar stuff?

Well I have been looking for a body for my old Tamiya spring chassis for awhile now and haven't been able to find a suitable one for the right price . I was told that it probably had a Porshe body on it originally because of the length of the front end . Fond a couple of Lola T70 repops on eBay in America and knowing this is going to be very expensive pushed the button! So now I have another two projects 😃 one original and one with all the modern technology under it.

First test fit I noticed the size of the wheel arches and how close the front wheels are to the front of the body . If anyone has an original one could you post a picture or two , for reference of how they would have looked . In researching ,I see you could get the Lola with the spring chassis in the later release . I do realise that this body is for the ladder (inline) chassis ,but seems to be enough room to be able to work !
Any suggestions or advice would be great!
