Eldon was my introduction to slot cars (Thanks Mom!) This was my first set. My original set was damaged in a move so I re-bought the set several years ago. Identical to my original one.

ID:	671 I have a few Eldon cars I bought them used but they cleaned up really well and run great! Sure is fun to pull these old cars out to run once in while.

Eldon was my introduction to slot car also. I received my 1st. set for Xmas 1965. Unfortunately I don't remember which set it was. However I came across this set this summer

My trip to Edmonton in Aug. for the Tourist Trophy netted me a large box of NOS track and a couple of more chassis. Currently in the process of recreating an extended version of the track I put together back then (minus the crossing track and the squeeze lane) LOL

Eldon offered a 1/24 Watson Roadster and a Lotus 38. Neither are true scale, but both can be detailed and made into nice looking cars. They used the same 1/32 nylon chassis.

I spent a LOT of time running Eldon when I was younger and still like getting out the old track and slip sliding around when I can! They aren't the fastest cars - but the ones we have are pretty evenly matched and make for some FUN racing!

By all means. Sure wish I had a nickle for every lap I put on that layout back in the day

That is what we enjoy about these cars, the Fun Factor..Had a few with bad motors, still had some of Bibster's motor adapters, installed them and away we went..
