I previously posted the chassis build for this car (K&B Lola t70) but had some issues updating it to add the finished car pics (no doubt user error), so,...I will post them here.
I did have to add/make a few bits as the body was not 100% complete, and I always struggle on whether to leave it completely stock, or whether to add more details.........I have gone halfway here
The body was airbrushed with Tamiya light blue Pearl, and airbrush clear coated with Tamiya Semi Gloss...to my mind it looks so much more accurate than hi Gloss, particularly for the mid 60's cars.
I did get some decal "silvering", but, I am not overly concerned as the decals are 50 + years old, and I did want to use vintage ones.
I have also made a small aluminum rear spoiler, and am contemplating whether to attach it or not.
The light (bright sunlight) plays some tricks with the photos, but the finish is very smooth and even.
Anyway,...she be done
Cheers

The bloody Macro lens shows all my mistakes.
.......I will have to touch up his gloves with a bit more flat clear, and try to make his driving suit stripe a bit more even,....although
in person, with the car being less than half the size of this picture, you really can't notice it
