Hi all!
I'm still on a continuing "knowledge quest" concerning things Strombecker. I have a few questions that some of you might be willing/able to help me with:
* How does the gray can perform compared to the open frame (9091) motor that replaced it?
* Can you run 7/8" tires on the gray can powered cars? (I've heard they'll rub the track with 7/8" tires.)
* How are the earlier rear-motored gray long chassis compared to the black poly long chassis? (Durability, performance, etc.) AND, will a 9091 motor fit such a gray frame?
* Will a gray or black long guide fit either the gray or black frame?
* Are the gray wheels (with a smooth tire mounting area) the same diameter as the later chromed "wire" (smooth) wheels? (i.e. will the same tires fit both types of wheels.)
I'm trying to learn what will mix n' match, and what won't.
