I must have read through that manual hundreds of time as a kid. I remember taking it to my 6th grade teacher, Mr. Cutler, asking for his help to figure out the speed calculation formula. Had no idea a fun life as a data nerd was just getting started.

Just like the 1963 Handbook, it dawned on me that the inside covers of the Handbook's comprised of the same photo! SO... as I did with the 1963 Handbook, I loaded both 1964 halves into my photo software and stitched them together. Thought I'd share the finished product with all of you! Any of you others love the 1950s/early 1960s racing scene??
