The Showdown is a few weeks away....however I have to stress that this year the Postal Service is very slow. I am being very kind as well. Packages that normally take 4 to 5 days are taking close to 2 weeks or more.

The Christmas rush was the big factor, but the recovery time cannot be trusted.

So I would ship your models as soon as you can to make sure they are here by the 21st.

I would definitely think about using UPS instead of the USPS. May cost a little more but far more dependable at least right now.

I'm waiting on my decals to show up in the mail. The car itself is finished is I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get the decals in time. I always ship my cars to Harry via UPS so I can dictate how long it takes to get there.

I got a letter from Ca that was sent Nov 10 and arrived Dec 31. Parcels were/are taking 10 days or more if sent First Class. Priority has been taking 4-5. UPS to Australia is taking just over a week and does get there securely. USPS might take 3-5 weeks and not arrive safely. Maybe things will get back to normal in another week or two.

For whatever reason the mail is fairly normal here, order from SCC sent last Wednesday arrived today.

SCC order from 12/21/2020 supposed to arrive today via UPS, as Steve was kind enough to call and offer me this shipping option instead of USPS.

Edit: my parts arrived yesterday evening.

I ordered some parts from SCC on Dec 16 not seen them yet. In about 3 hours I could have drove there and got them myself.

I think the pst office folks are doing the best they can but between the election and the holidays they just got buried and will need some time to dig out.

The virus has left them shorthanded from an article I read, some areas are obviously affected more then others, I think some overtime hours were cut also.

I'm in the Northeast - waiting on an order shipped on 12/19 from Michigan. The new RevoSlot Viper (#56 - very nice!!) was shipped on 12/24 from Washington and arrived on 12/29. Looks like stuff is being re-routed - so it's hard to forecast anything I guess - no worries it will be here eventually. Great tip about using UPS! I'm just grateful to be employed and healthy - things will work out eventually.

Our guy was walking around last night at 7:00 wearing a headlamp delivering our mail. It's kind of hard to complain about that.
