Well, the series returns to Timberline Trace for the final round. We are a 40 ft two lane routed road course with copper tape and adjustable power at the drivers stations.
Following the disaster with the gravel trap between Turns 1&2 during Round 1, the raceway management decided to install a barrier and fencing to improve the racing. There has been quite a bit of attention by the press:

There were doubts about it being safe for 1/24 cars but suffice to say they negotiate it fine, so their smaller 1/32 brethren will have no issues unless they over-drive it.
There is an additional barrier at the end of the back sweeper as well:

With all of the improvements, the crowd has increased for this event, and the stands are quite a bit more full. The big carousel corner is sporting a new wall in front of the far grandstand:

The track owners have gone all out, and hired a squad of promo girls to add some enthusiasm:

And it seems to have worked....even the luxury boxes above the pits are full for this race and the pits are busy as the teams prepare.

Much excitement welcoming the participants to this last round.
For this round, we will be racing LeMans endurance cars from the late 60s.
The grid and details on our 1 Mile Challenge format will be posted later this week after the teams complete shakedown.
