  • 2020 RAA Round #4 at Clover Leaf Racing

The cars are in Michigan. I know it is late notices, but it looks like we'll be running the race tomorrow afternoon. I had to burn some vacation time and there is a group that regularly meets on Friday. Decided to leverage the available time to make it happen.

The plan is to stream the race (and possibly qualifying) via Facebook. Go live time will be somewhere between 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm Eastern.

Come back tomorrow for a link to the stream. I should be able to set it up for public view.

    Good luck to all racers!

Cool - we are supposed to get some snow starting tomorrow morning, so I know what I'll be watching tomorrow afternoon!
    Thanks Corey!

I'll be posting results and link to video today. Sorry I didn't get the link here for the live stream. I had a different crew with me yesterday and it was a bit clunky to start.

Okay gents... Qualifying and the race are both in the books.

Here is a link to the video, as I didn't have a chance to get it posted before the event. I apologize.

Not sure but video wouldn't play past 35 secs. I'll try again later.

Hopefully it will work for you. I just tried it and I could see it all, but then again I posted it...

And now... The results! I didn't get a chance to do in-race photos. Hopefully providing video makes up for it. I did get some shots of the cars at their unboxing and then a line up based on the race results.

Congrats to Doubl-B on a well built and easy to drive car. The race for 2nd came down to a single segment (approximately 1 foot of track length).

Thanks for Andy, Dave, Cal, Gary and Mark for providing their time and effort to make this event happen!!!!

Cars are still in my possession. I was asked to return them to then be returned to the owners. I'm in the process of getting a track set up at home and have offered to run a solo (or 2-man,) race here once ready. Should be ready to go by Christmas.

Take your time and set the track up right, no rush here. Have fun and burn the tires off them.

Yeah, no worries - take your time. Don't forget about the CT tracks. Glenn (101 Corvettes) offered to do a round at his track (Snipsic Lake) and I'm sure Jeremy (Rockledge Raceway) would be willing to run a round.

Good to know. I wasn't sure what the overall status was.
