ID:	75145 Well the cars have been run. In most proxies I'll qualify the cars myself then come race day I'll have three different drivers who are generally faster than me race the cars while
i marshal and man the computer and that typically scrambles the Q order pretty well. In these covid times I did the Qualification and raced all three lanes. The starting with the slowest cars the racing was pretty much following the qualifying results. As I got to the faster cars It was apparent that some cars might be a geared a bit high for my track.. While they qualified very fast on my center lane they didn't like the outside lanes as much. With some cars I felt like I had to sneek up on the hairpins, while the lower geared cars could go in a bit deeper and come out faster, the end result being the order started to change a bit.

A lot of these cars ran very close together, several had the same lap totals. These were sorted out by adding the average lap times for each lane together with the faster car taking the position.
I used my wireless keyboard at the control station giving me a track call button, but most of these cars were so smooth there were very few deslots.

Great job building these cars. As usual some cars were faster than others but they all ran well, the top half dozen cars ran Thunderslot smooth and that is hard to do.

Race Results are at the very bottom, I don't know why it does that.

below are some car photos starting with our podium finishers, congratulations to Audi !, Dungeon Racer, and DRW 21.

I clicked on the Race Results.docx and got this message:

Would it be possible to copy the text out of the Doc and post it in the thread?
    thx.

Thanks for getting this round qualified and run. Why does my pony run fast in qualifying but fail to race wellI know at other venues they stated it has a tendency to de-slot. I see Sir Smokeio went backwards as well. Congratulations to the podium finishers. I got to get this pony figured out before its next outing.

As stated above some of the cars, yours included, were very fast in my middle lane but seemed to suffer on the outside lanes. i think it might be gearing, but every track is different. Audi 1's car on the other hand flew just as fast on all three lanes, he was actually faster on one of the outside lanes.

Thank you for running he round Mitch. Congratulations Audi1, Dungeonracer and DRW21 on your win and podiums. The podium from qualifying remained the same just a different Ferrari and a change of a GT40. I’m feeling great that the #33 maintained its qualifying position as this track is great at providing a challenge to the cars Mitch, again thank you for running the round so quickly. Good Luck to the builders in round 8

Thanks a lot for running this Round for us, Mitch. It's a lot of work when you're doing it all solo and we appreciate the time and effort that you put into this race.

Congrats to Dickie (Dungeonracer) and DownUnder Dave (DRW21) on their podium finishes!

Mitch tells me that the cars are all packed up now and ready to go. Stay tuned for the next track and Round #8 as we head into the final stretch of this series.

Hi Mitch, Can you add the total laps to the finishing order? This series is based on total distance traveled, so we need to have the lap totals to go along with the places. Todd (TuscoTodd) handles the scoring for us and I alerted him today to the fact that Round #7 is now complete.

            Thanks,

            Allan

I will tomorrow. I was looking at the results and just realized that I left the
              lap count off.

It is a points race - but the points are assigned based on the total distance traveled in each Round.
