I gotta agree. Allan, how did you get the wheelbase to fit??! I spent a couple of weeks labouring to get a Thunderslot Lola chassis under my P4 only to discover that the wheelbase was about 5mm too short. Hats off for making it work.

The wheelbase on the TS Lola chassis and the Policar 330 P are nearly identical. The body mounts are way off, but if you're used to fitting HRS2 chassis to bodies, then new body posts are doable. Track was also close, with just a little need for manipulation. We'll see how it does in the series; it's an experimental question mark at this point.

more info on the #33 NSR GT40MK1, medium chassis, hard pod, NSR Ultras, NSR 0grips, Shark 22 motor, 12/31 gearing needs 12/30 at the Madonie. Thunderslot Lola Spyder inserts, slot it guide.

Perhaps we should start a thread for these specs, like they do on the Group 5 and GT3 Proxies. I'll put one up and see if there's interest. Tony, you may need to enter your specs again there.

Audi1 - the new thread you started for specs is ideal. I'll get my info there while still checking notifications of other updates here and on picture pages.

Thanks for the additional info provided - I'll add as much as possible to my spreadsheet. I'd like to know what body was used too, if the body isn't what came with the chassis. I thought there'd be more scratch built chassis, but instead it seems the field is dominated by ThunderSlots.

Some chassis say hsn on them - what is that?

GT40s are Slot It and NSR (1 cap on the top of fender). Ferrari are primarily Policar 330 and 412. Sir Audi has a 1off Thunderslot chassis Ferrari that can earn a few wins. Especially if it's a chassis that ran in the Can Am

Right, cleaning the embedded rubber dust out of them with lighter fluid (Ronsonol).
Working...
