2021 DaVols Forums Cup Proxy Series Race Hosts

Hello all!

DaVols Forums Cup Proxy is looking for race hosts for the 2021 season. Any hosts from last year or any previous season that can host again is appreciated, and new hosts are always welcome. If our hosts from last year return, we will have 3-4 road courses this year in addition to mostly oval tracks. Tracks can be plastic, or routed. We do run urethane tires, so it is a plus if your already "rubbered in." I would like this season to consist of 12 races on a two to three week schedule, past hosts will get preferential dates.

Scott, The Shoreline club will do two races again this season. The Manure Pile and The Ivoryton Raceway.

Mike, do you only run this as a roval configuration, or do you have the pieces to run it as an oval too?

Reason I ask is that we have 2 oval/roval converting tracks already.

I want to keep DFCP as a mostly oval series, but we have added a few more road/roval races over the last 2 years.

I currently only run as a roval. Not enough pieces to make the oval, either end of the track are different radius.

Scott, The Ivoryton Raceway is not painted, And we only use the 4 outside lanes when we race any Proxys.

Got my tracks crossed up then. I know you typically only use 4 lanes for the races, but the track is a 6 lane. That’s like the 8 lane at Bloom, we typically don’t use more than 6, but usually only 4 for the proxy.

Please take a look at the tentative schedule posted here. It will be very fluid once again this season as we are still dealing with the effects of the global pandemic. I have 14 tentative races with the possibility of sneaking more in if the timing/potential track builds allow.

Both Ivoryton Raceway and the Manure Pile are normally run at 10 volts. On both tracks the drivers use their own controllers and those are all Difalcos.
