BWatkins Gear Stripped pinion did not engage on starting line. You can spin the rear axle and gears have no to limited mesh.

Hi Arroldn, you might be able to reset that wheel and give it enough clearance to run if allowed

is that the loose wheel on Car 40 or on 57??? I had used spacers on the inside of the pod between the crown and bushing to keep the mesh nice, feel free to check it out. if its an easy fix go for it

I believe we have established past precedents that the host can repair a car.

Myself, the nature of the failure determined what I would consider an non-intrusive repair... replacing a gear with a like kind I have done without asking/waiting for a response. Even shimming an axel so there is not tire rub I think would be allowed and appreciated. Clearly the cars will not be able to race well if at all with these issues. It is between you and the owner if you use your parts to repair and would like reimbursement. I know I have gladly done it in the past and have never wanted anything in return.

It almost looks like a bearing popped out.

Scott found this during qualifying. I have a tire on another car sitting around to replace it with. First time I've seen this. I have tires older than this one which have not done this. Glad it was caught here. Didn't seem to effect handling but wouldn't want it to fall apart later.

Is there a rub that is causing that, or is it just wearing from racing? Either way, go ahead and replace it so the car can continue

No rubbing. I have seen this happen to rubber tires. First time for urethane to my knowledge.

That reddish tire looks like what PG tires start doing after some time. PG urethane
