Brumos, in character. Well done, Tony.

That Truffle Hound looks fast just setting there.
      Nice work bench.

These were two strong contenders in the RAA Proxy. Builders please move to high alert and step up your game to compete with either of these cars.

Your a funny man Brumos!😂 these were fast sometimes….I need to work on a more consistent car. Having fun working with these again tho. Hope your Porsche is doing well!
Thanks for the nice comment. Cheers! -Geoff

With you finding consistency, SirModlersc, DocDoom and SteeveeW who won the last 3 races, it will be big fun and VERY COMPETITIVE!!

After a great run of my Porsche at Tanex,
        Hitting a 7.016
I wish I had a marker on times.
I think the time is to slow….
        Today I did this Supra:
16 hour complete build from a white kit.
        Time to test and tune:

7.016 from a Revoslot while GT3 Proxy cars are turning 6.4-6.8!! I’d say we have work to do as that is pretty quick

well....I don't Know what to say.
          I thought that was slow.
I went and built the supra because I thought I'd never get the Porsche into top 10 after all the work I did.
          Thanks for making my day.

Weston, car looks awesome! Love those Supra’s and glad it’s making great times! 👍🏻
And 16 hours for a completed white kit might be a new record!😃

Tony, Thanks for starting up this thread. I was away on vacation for the past week and just returned yesterday.

Some good looking cars and some fast looking cars already!

This will be a competitive series; that I’m sure of!

As a comparison, here’s the status of the car that I plan to run. Pretty much stock right now…..with some parts in the background that arrived while I was away. It’s clear that I need to get going!

That’s only part of the pile……. 😂. You can’t take all Proxy build pictures posted at face value, Kevan. There’s often times some friendly joshing; picture and otherwise, that goes on in these threads and such is the case here.

Well good! There's still room for an entry from the Isle of Man you know...........a good chance to join in the fun - and Pendle's seems to be the top supplier of Revoslot parts right now.....what more do you need? Seriously, join in if you'd like to have some fun!

Wes, I just checked my lap times from when I was preparing my Revo Viper for the 2021 GT3 proxy. The was in Sept - Oct 2020. At that stage I was getting laps in the 6.65 - 6.75 second range @ Tanex @ 12V. Note that the car was legal for this proxy: stock chassis, initially stock motor but later Scaleauto 22K motor, weight on the chassis plate, tape on the chassis/body plate for dampening. Most/all of these times were with the original Revo body but I THINK some of the later (not quite as good) times were for when I had put the Scaleauto GT3 Viper body on the chassis.

              Thank you Alwyn,
              I ran the 7.016 at 10.5v.
I have worn my tires clean out testing.
I guess I will mount on some new rubber.
Then i will start testing at 11v and see where this takes me.
Hopefully this gets me into the 6's.

Nice Porsche Austin! I am working on one as well just waiting for my white body kit to do up. Might have to join you guys as well!
any reason this Ferrari cannot race as well? I guess maybe never raced as GT2?
I finally figured out how to make the front wheels touch and boy this car goes great! Faster than my stock RAA cars! Click image for larger version

The Mclaren and F40 were considered GT1 cars.

Well I got my white kit converted into a Mobil BARC Porsche racer. Seems like there will be a few Porsches in the field. I have a more period correct driver added to the tray, and am checking with Allan to if that is Ok. Car is box stock and I have done zero tuning yet.
