  • World Championship Proxy - The Reveal & Round 0

I know this is too short notice to expect much of a live audience, but I am hoping to live stream the unboxing and a first look at the cars in about an hour from now at approximately 4.30pm PST or 7.30 EST.

No worries if you are unable to attent the stream, it will be recorded and I will post a link below.

Hi Chris - I greatly enjoyed the unwrapping ceremony!
Fascinating to see such a variety within a fairly limited set of parameters...
All the way from Sydney, Australia.......

      Cheers, Tony.

Thanks Tony, agreed. I am surprised by the number of long cans as well as AW short cans. Good luck, nice to have you join us.

Great to see the assortment of car configurations and weights. I hope my car is not a tank as it’s heavy like my GT3 and Group 5 cars but with a smaller motor in this Proxy. Time will tell if I went the wrong direction. A few of us in the 90 plus gram range. This was a big decision as I felt I needed the extra weight for the various drivers and tracks in the series. See what happens.

Thanks for the unveiling video. Much appreciated. It will be a great series.

Chris you asked what the graphic was on my #88 car. The graphic on the top of the body is an infinity symbol created from rice grains. This is the logo from my restaurants. Chris, thanks for doing the unboxing.

              Chris,
Just so you don't worry that the 3 cars entered by SCANC (Slot Car Addicts of North Carolina) club members are under a spell to give them an invisible rear guide pin or something, the witches you referred to in the reveal were in Salem Massachusetts, not Winston-Salem North Carolina!

                Enjoyable show (& not tell!).

I have a soft spot for inlines, so looking forward to seeing how this pans out...

Very nice "un-boxing" presentation, Chris - thanks! I'll post the mystery front suspension piece to the build thread now.
