I think you should get at least one additional point for finishing first place in the shipping race.

A week and a half to ship all the way from isolated Hawaii has to be worth points!

I mailed fairly early because I didn’t know how long it would take to clear customs in these COVID times and because I wanted to stop obsessing over it. It’s quicker than last year’s car (which was a bottom feeder, so that’s not saying much) and it’s much easier to drive without the Piranha ball bearing motor.

Wow, that was quick! I had an order of CBD wheels shipped from Slotcar Corner on Sept.25, cleared customs on Oct.11, still no sign of the wheels.

Brumos - speculation year sounds interesting what you have in the works.

Fast Co - you are right when we get to that point better off to just send the car otherwise we end up like F1Fan putting 4000 laps in on a weekend!

You are right with diminishing returns. In September all 3 of my candidates were running 51 secs when shipped I could barely get 53 secs out of them. I think I shipped the Lambo on the hard chassis with a 20 lap time in the 53 secs range. this was a 2 sec drop from last month. What happened? I don't know. Test the track voltage, good. Cleaned the track rails. No improvement. Used my new Professor Motor controller. After getting use to it, no improvement. So I just hope it is competitive.

Speculation Year means, I did not need to qualify in, so either the changes for this year work or build something special to qualify in the following year. Not fun or recommended
