That's a beautiful paint job, the lines are so crisp, it looks like a factory livery! Please post more pictures, 10 bonus points for each picture and half a bitcoin deposited to your account. (and if you believe this, I have a great beachfront property for sale in Milton Keynes!)

There is absolutely no way I am going to show off what is under the bonnet in this company. There's nothing to see here...move on! (desperately trying to get back under the radar)
Oh well looking to next year with back up car. Good speed …needs better weight distribution and better transition out of turns. Oh Leon your car was amazing and keeps my idle moments occupied on how you built what an amazing car.
Happy Fathers Day to you all…!

Seems to me the rule needs to be rewritten. The part of the chassis that protrudes from the body and serves as the front splitter and the rear diffuser obviously should be legal and have been present on cars in past GT3 proxies.

The rule was written for custom chassis fitted onto bodies. Ready to run cars with their own chassis and bodies are totally fine and except. The spirit of the rule is for an example Courtney’s 911 where he custom fit a Thunderslot chassis under his NSR body. He had to trim the Thunderslot chassis in order for the chassis to fit under the body.

just for clarification ..... according to rules :-
'The car body must fully enclose the chassis, guide with braid and wheels (rims) and tyres when viewed from above'
the chassis can be seen at the front of my C7R from above , this will be legal ?
' (Wheels that do not meet the criteria are: Sloting Plus, Universal CB Design Insert style, NSR – these wheels must have inserts or be painted)'
does this mean NSR wheels as fitted to the original model require either inserts or painting ?

Hi Mr. Bouillon, thanks for 1) taking the time to read the rules and 2) asking for clarification, this admin stuff is very time consuming and not all that sexy, so I really appreciate you making the time to check it out.
The rules are not perfect, doubt it will ever be unless we get legal involved!
The overarching idea is that the car looks as much as possible like the 1:1 model in appearance, this includes protrusions, extrusions, intrusions etc.... but realizing that we are also trying to build fast cars that are able to stay in one piece for the duration of the series.
Although the splitter and diffusers are usually attached to the chassis, for the sake of this series we would assume they are part of the body (look of the car) and therefore should remain visible and on the car. Again looking at the "big picture" and trying to make the car look authentic, the wheels should have inserts and/or be painted to resemble the real thing. I know that the above guidance sounds a bit like we would call at work a "half pregnant" situation/comment, but hopefully it makes sense.
For clarification - like Steve mentions in his post, the previous rules have worked in the past and the cars looked great - the reason I added the comment about the diffuser/splitter was due to some cars (e.g. new Porsche 991.2) have very large and significant diffusers behind the rear axle and entrants could be more tempted to remove these to get a technical advantage. The rule is thus written to allow for removal of weight from this area, but when you look at the car from the side and/or front/back the car/body/diffuser should look authentic.

Brilliant:
A show & Tell page.
Being as this is my first GT3 Proxy, this will be fun.
Ive been working on these 3 NSR cars.
the one in the middle is my custom paint. I painted around the stock NSR platform.
I will be building 6 cars in total and will pick the best one to send....
This is my first go at NSR cars....
Sometimes imitation is the sincerest form of flattery......last year I worked really hard to make these BMW work, but ended up re-entering the Porsche from the year before. Now seeing how similar Aloha's tune was to what I had, I am going to give them another try:
I also briefly tested the Blackarrow Ferrari, but since it is the Valentino Rossi livery, I was never seriously considering entering it. Later in the year I bought a red version of that body to test, but never got around to it. Stripped the red paint, painted it yellow with the white/blue stripe, but the black Pirelli decals were old and ended up cracking, stripped the body again, painted it plain yellow and used some red Pirelli decals. Then I wonder why I end up not winning....spending waaay too much time on stuff that matters less and spending waaay too much time on multiple car options!

The bear is very agitated. We know he will get serious this season and give his best effort. The dreams about palm Trees, BMW's, surfer dudes, flip flops and checkered flags he has been having on a daily basis will somehow disappear and the tuning will start. Step by step.
