Can you also notate who to contact to get them, and which are "clean" versus "messy?"

I'm not going to do the Elva, as I don't really want to do what's needed to make it look half decent.

And I don't want to pester Steve for everything if he doesn't have something.

@Mr.F - Stay away from the Shadow DN4 too, both cars require a more committed soul.

try the 2j from cults3d it could use a little smoothing.

Well, with all due respect I can't predict anyone else's evaluation of "clean vs. messy".

What I can say is the files we have bought have all been excellent. The free files have given us cars we don't otherwise get, those those are excellent in a different way. To each their own. I don't mind a little work for a car I can't get or afford otherwise, but that's part of the hobby for me.

I am greatly thankful for all of the effort invested by those who do what I can't by developing the files.

Nope....I found that one messing around on a video game site where someone took a skin and made a model. Took awhile to strip the extras back out.

            Thanks Kevin,
The Hussein is a great car but ineligible for this proxy.

But I added the 612, and there is now also a Lola T70 available in case anyone wants to do the PaceSetter Homes car......

Yes, I have seen a picture from Racer1h of the printed T70.
It looks nice, the early smooth car. I suspect he will post it eventually.

These cars (in this era) are like a high point for sport car racing, and would make absolutely perfect subjects for slot car building!

Maybe I missed it, but where would you find the Shadows for instance?

Do they have thickness - where are they currently available?

Are those Shadow files (for instance) available for free or are they paid files as well?

The MkII and DN4 Shadows are not paid files as this time. They were developed by another forum member. The MkI variations have been developed by a different forum member (one of the MkI variants is shown below).

They all have plenty of thickness (which is also manageable in the slicer, btw) and as you can see they are all printable. I will say that they are a bit angular and require some work to build.

Again, I may have missed it, but where would a builder find the (files for) cars on the list?

Ask in the thread to find out the creator of each car?

                        - And then ask those indivdual creators if they might supply the file?

Just pick the car to enter in the proxy and we will see that you get the file.
The paid show the web location.

Racer 1h: Thanks for the response -

I won't be entering but I will be following the builds.

Great job on the all the Shadows and big block Can-Ams you have assembled on your track.
