Not really much of a build really. I had set this up for a class already, I just swapped motors for this proxy. It handles very well for such a tall narrow car. Fun to drive.

I must be the only clueless one. Where can I find or who makes 10" rubber tires for the 15 x 8 rims? The Slot.It 1171N22s are too wide.

is functional. Now to true tires, paint and pay attention to details as it's slightly slow compared to my Alpha still

That's correct Alan, I was wondering who would catch it. 😄

        • I don't know who keeps buying those wheels, I'd gladly trade a set for a Thunderslot Elva

I was going to buy a set but when the shipping all but exceeded the cost of the wheels, no thanks. They do look the business though.

Amazing wheels. Do they have any for my Mini Cooper?
Why doesn't my car run like that?

If you are still serious about entering a legal Mini Cooper, you’ll have to look to the 1/43 crowd for help. The one I fielded in 2018 had aluminum wheels and urethanes from some Euro site I found. It had a Pirana motor, brass chassis, and ran dead last.

Thanks Zack... my name for it was the Cherry Bomb (yea I’m one of those people who name ‘em), but when it raced at PDR, they dubbed it the Clown Car.... At least the Anglia will have slightly bigger tires....

Dart Hobbies sells scale 10" rims and Minilite inserts (which I didn't use) and PG has urethanes in limited supply. This has a Dennis Samson chassis under her with a Policar F1 drivetrain.

That's is really nice. I know it's off topic but let's see the bottom as I enjoy the art work of Sir Dennis

The 10" wheels and minilite inserts (as well as urethane tires) are from RSSlotracing.......a good guy to deal with , and, good service.

Dart did have some 13" double flanged wheels, but , these have been sold out for ages...........RSSlotracing, also has a range of 13" double flanged wheels, and various inserts to fit.

                  Cheers
