  • 2019 CanAm Proxy - The Tracks

Here's another useful thread to migrate:

Here's a thread to keep everyone updated on the tracks that we'll be running on during this Can-Am Proxy series.

There will be a total of 10 tracks and we'll try to keep that in line with the old Can-Am theme of having equal numbers of races in Canada and the US.

Here's what we have so far from the Rules & Registration thread:

    1. The River Run - US - Audi1 - mid-May
    2. Rockledge Raceway - US - Doubl-B - early June
    3. Wayne's World - US - smokeio - late June
    4. Woodland Trace Racweway - US - Fast Co - mid July
    5. Pebblestone Model Car Circuit - US - gascarnut - early August
    6. MID-BC - CA - cygracer - late August
    7. Aldorado - CA - giddyup - mid-September
    8. GETCARS - CA - radarek - early October
    9. Slot Car Racing Edmonton - CA - radarek - late Ocrober
    10. Circuit Courville - CA - cgingras - mid-November

We have a full slate of tracks - thanks to all the hosts!

Audi1: “Dariusz, the cars stay right in Edmonton for Round #9; on one of you other tracks. When Chappy’s track dropped out, you offered to double-up for us and we really appreciate that! PM me if anything has changed, but, if not then they’re yours for another Round.”

There will be two rounds in Edmonton?

Yes. Round #8 was going to be at the GETCARS Edmonton track, but we ran it on their new, larger 113' Dominator track instead. Round #9 is on a second track with Dariusz and his fellow racers in Edmonton.

I believe round 9 was run over the weekend if I'm reading the Edmonton Slot Car FB page correctly.

Hmmm - nothing that I’ve seen here yet.......probably soon.

Yup, you’re right. Looks like congrats are in order for Dave (drw21), Tony (brumosRSR) and Arrold (arroldn) on their podium finishes!!

Where are you guys finding results from round 9? I can’t find anything posted in the Can Am forum.

We hope to see the results soon on a separate CanAm Round #9 thread.
