  • CanAm - Car Returns

Just a quick note to let you all know that the CanAm cars went into the mail today.

Those of you in the US should be seeing them show up in your mailboxes sometime Thursday-Saturday and those of you outside the US, in one-two weeks.

Separately, Happy New Year to all of you!

    Allan

Nice!! Fantastic work ....even shipping the cars back as soon as you have puts the finishing touches on this proxy.

Car arrived today minus the front inserts,( if they are out there somewhere I will cover shipping ) changed the braid, adjusted the front end some more. It's faster now than when it left the house, maybe it's due to no front inserts.

Car arrived today. Out of the box ran 20 laps in 52.49 secs. Um slower than when left here. After I cleaned the tires did three more 20 laps runs. 49.50 secs faster than when it left by 1.05 secs. Or did I just learn how to handle the speed. See you next year. Maybe I can crack into the top 5 but glad to be 7th. Now at 49.50 secs this was .02 secs faster than the Huracan that got disqualified for the GT3 proxy because of loose bushings. I don't know if my little track can handle the upgrades that have been suggested. I know my old eyes were struggling to keep up

Upon looking the car over this morning found the mirror support was broken. A little glue and all is well.

I think the inserts are a definite possibility. Take a pic of the car and I'll have a look...……...

Mine is back too, thanks very much. Now the work starts to make it into a decent car! Out with the Piranha 25k motor and off with some weight, I think.

Dennis amazing. That was the motor recommended to me to switch too.
