Carrera track, painted and copper taped, about 90"per lane, Professor Motor adjustable controllers, Loco DS400 power supply. Fun to drive but can be tricky in a couple of spots.
Thanks a lot guys. Brian--yes that's where the Targa Florio Cobra gets to run--along with all the other Cobras If you or anyone here is ever in the Denver area, let me know. It's a fun track to run.
slothead , are you talking about my track ? The track and tables are far down the road . I have everything I need for track , I just do not have the tables and leaf built yet . Everything I plan on doing is in my mind . As soon as I get started I will post pics of the build .
Yes, I was talking about your track. I enjoy hearing about your plans but would love to see you bring them to life even more. I assume you are about the same age as most of us who got started with slots back in the 60's. That suggests we might not have as many tomorrows as we imagine. I remember learning "never put off to tomorrow that which can be done today". I hope you can realize your dreams.
Hey slothead , thanks for the encouraging words . Will be trying to make my track a reality , but since my stroke it all has been put on the back burner so to speak
Can I ask a question . How was the copper tape laid , as in was it taped before you laid the track or afterwards , and how is it powered ?
I used LUf's kit that I borrowed from a friend. It was laid after the track was built and painted. (BTW, there are no breaks in the tape) It is powered by a Loco DS400 power supply-0-20V and 5-30Amps.
