I figured I might as well just start a brand new thread...again. Please remind me to stop moving, and I'll stop rebuilding the track...
As discussed on the old thread, we moved from Colorado to Florida and purchased a home with a 30x40 detached garage. It was big, dirty, bug-infested, and sweltering hot garage. The intent has been to get it clean, cool, and able to be used as a slot car room in lieu of a basement as well as a parking spot for my 1:1 slot car and my mower. The dart board and Foosball table are also going to reside in here - along with a small fridge for "refreshments".
The PDR was disassembled and will be put back together with a 4' extension so that I have some more scenic opportunities and a bit more room to stretch the cars' legs. I'll also be making the table on casters so it can be easily rolled if needed.

After the fetching Mrs. R and I completed the construction phase last night:
With the LEDs off and the slot car room lighting on:
So, now on to the decorations and the rebuilding of the PDR! I'll be purchasing lumber this coming weekend and hope to have the track off the floor by late next week if all goes well.
